Nakheel has closed land sales worth more than Dh162 million in its Al Furjan and Jumeirah Village Triangle developments – evidence of heightened investor confidence in the Dubai real estate market. In Al Furjan, it sold plots of land for Dh70 million for 91 town houses, in addition to four commercial plots for Dh26 million. Al Furjan is already a vibrant community with more than 800 homes. A new community retail and recreation centre is due to open early next year in its vicinity. Nakheel also sold 45 villa plots in Jumeirah Village Triangle, located in a thriv- ing community within close proximity to its 860-hectare master development south of Al Khail Road. A Nakheel spokesman said: “Just as we expected, these plots drew a lot of attention – the level of interest shown underscores the fact that Al Furjan and Jumeirah Village are amongst the most convenient and sought- after locations in Dubai.”
